The cradle of tourism in Val Badia

Kurfar lies at 1568 m above sea level in a sunny valley at the foot of the Sassongher and has a long tourist tradition. Thanks to its privileged position on the Sellaronda, the tour around the Sella massif, our MUSE.holiday apartments are the ideal place for a sporty holiday.

Modern ski lifts take athletes directly to the many ski slopes around Corvara, which are suitable for both leisurely skiers and families with children. Advanced skiers can use more challenging slopes such as Vallon-Boè and Col Alt to start directly to the Sellaronda and Mountain Hunter Tour.

In summer, two modern lifts take you to an altitude of over 2,000 m, where an exceptional view of the Dolomites of Alta Badia awaits. Hikers and climbers have a wide choice of routes in the Puez-Odle Nature Park, both on the Col Alt-Pralongià plateau and to the peaks of Sassongher and Piz Boè. The village also offers many sports and leisure facilities, including an indoor ice stadium, a golf course, tennis courts and a biotope lake complex and green spaces.

Just a few kilometres from Corvara, Colfosco lies at 1645 m on the edge of the Puez-Odle Nature Park. This charming village is surrounded by forests and gentle slopes and offers numerous possibilities for a relaxing holiday. In summer it is the ideal starting point for many walks and hikes without a car. Convenient lifts allow an easy ascent also by mountain bike. The Sella Group is a particularly popular destination for climbers; the Pisciadù via ferrata is especially famous.

In winter it is very sunny in Colfosco and in the Val Stella Alpina. It is also the perfect starting point for the panoramic Sellaronda ski tour as well as for the ski tour to the Puez peaks or for a trip to the Val Mezdì the Sella group.

For all skiing enthusiasts, the World Cup race takes place in December on the Gran Risa slope.
