The cost varies depending on the apartment you have booked.
With the car
You can reach Val Gardena via the A22 motorway
- If you are coming from the south, take the "Bozen Nord" or "Klausen-Gröden" exit. If you are coming from the north, we recommend the "Klausen-Gröden" exit. Val Gardena is well signposted from these exits.
- St. Ulrich is the first village in Val Gardena, followed by St. Christina and Wolkenstein.
- You can find the traffic report for South Tyrol at the following website: www.provinz.bz.it
- The roads in Val Gardena are quickly cleared of snow, but we still recommend that you equip yourself with snow chains and winter tires from November to April.
Rental cars:
- This is probably the best compromise to reach Val Gardena from an airport.
- We recommend renting your car from AVIS, as they are the only car rental company with an office in Val Gardena. Your contact person for this is www.autokelder.com.
IMPORTANT
- From November to April, we recommend renting a car with all-wheel or front-wheel drive. Be sure to ask for winter tires and snow chains and avoid rear-wheel drive." is the English translation of the provided text.
By train - bus
You can take the train to Bozen, Waidbruck, Klausen or Brixen. We recommend Bozen or Waidbruck, as buses to Val Gardena run more frequently from there.
- For train schedules and tickets, visit www.trenitalia.it.
- For bus schedules from South Tyrol train stations to Val Gardena, visit www.sii.bz.it.
IMPORTANT:
The bus stop "Runggaditsch / Roncadizza" is located 100m from our office. From the office, you can either use public transportation to reach your apartment with the free Mobil Card, or we can happily arrange a taxi for you. The cost varies depending on the apartment you have booked. If you are departing from Bozen, please note that you should not take the bus to Kastelruth. This is the only bus that does not pass by our office.
