The excursions you can take while on holiday in the Valle Isarco are as varied as the valley itself. Explore the cultural highlights of the towns of Vipiteno, Bressanone and Chiusa, stroll in the castles following in the footsteps of the Middle Ages or celebrate alongside the locals at village festivals.

No matter what time of year it is in the Valle Isarco, just lace up your hiking boots and off you go. Whether it's a leisurely stroll along a themed trail or a challenging mountain tour to one of South Tyrol's highest situated mountain shelters - you decide.

Seven Lakes Hike: In Ridanna, hikers in good physical condition can set out on a seven-hour full-day hike. In the high-alpine landscape with its turquoise lakes, high moors and stone deserts, you feel like you have entered another world.

Plose Round: From Sant’Andrea via the Rossalm to the Schatzerhütte and then via the Wieserhöfl back to Sant’Andrea. The route is about 12 kilometres long and offers breathtaking views of the Dolomites. On the way you can also visit the historic Fane Alm, known for its traditional dishes and homemade cheese. Another beautiful option is the hike to the Sasso Putia, , one of the most prominent mountains in the Dolomites. The climb is demanding, but the view at the top is spectacular and more than makes up for the effort.
