Description

The Haus Mendelbahn lies in St. Anton, a sunny hamlet above Kaltern – right at the valley station of the Mendel funicular, one of the steepest in Europe. In a few minutes it takes you up to the Mendel Pass with a wide mountain panorama and numerous hiking trails; just as quickly you reach down to the wine village of Kaltern, Lake Kaltern and the South Tyrolean Wine Road.

Pizzeria, bakery and café are right around the corner, so the holiday day begins in a relaxed way on the doorstep. The building, erected in 2022, combines modern construction with a panoramic location away from the hustle – ideal for hikers, wine lovers and families. A bicycle cellar takes the bikes, and the parking space in front of the house is reserved free of charge for our guests.
