The panelled beamed ceiling, the upholstered corner bench and light wooden furniture draw a classically South Tyrolean picture, just as you would wish for.

The wide living area brings together a kitchenette, a dining table beside the corner bench and a pull-out sofa bed; the separate bedroom is furnished with a double bed. The bathroom offers a shower, WC and hairdryer. Description

The Residence Hofgarten welcomes its guests on a fruit farm above Kaltern – vines and orchards all around, and a view across the valley to the mountains. Six holiday apartments are spread through the house, each with its own balcony or terrace, many of them beneath the wooden loggia with its panoramic outlook. Figs and grapes ripen among the palms in the garden, a barbecue stands ready, there is a playground with a sandpit for the little ones, and the old vaulted cellar tells of the farm's history.

A private parking space belongs to the house, the bus stop lies in the immediate vicinity, and a bakery and the Mendelbahn valley station are quickly reached. From here you set off on hikes along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, cycle tours through the orchards, or days at Lake Kaltern, the warmest bathing lake in the Alps. Book your days between vines and mountains!
