Villages in Alta Badia

Alta Badia – the Val Badia, often called the “Heart of the Dolomites” – consists of three holiday resorts, each with its own character. Corvara with Colfosco, at 1,568 m at the foot of the Sassongher and right on the Sellaronda, is the hotspot for winter sports enthusiasts. Badia with La Villa and San Cassiano has kept its rural character with traditional Ladin farms and takes you onto the slopes via La Crusc and the Gran Risa World Cup run. La Val at 1,348 m, with its “viles” and hiking trails, is the place for those seeking peace and quiet.
