Salò can be easily accessed by airplane, train or car

By airplane

The nearest airport is in Verona. Other options are Brescia Airport and Bergamo Airport. Other airports in the area are: Mailand, Bozen and Venedig.

Airport transfers:
There are regular bus services connecting Verona Airport with Lake Garda. Travelers may need to change in Verona to catch a direct line to Salò.

By car

  • Coming from the NORTH:
    Change from the A22 motorway to the A4 towards Milan and take the Desenzano exit.

  • Coming from the SOUTH:
    Take the A1 motorway, near Milan change to the A4 towards Venice and take the Desenzano exit.

Please note that some Italian cities have established Low Emission Zones (Zona a Traffico Limitato - ZTL) for which special regulations apply.

By train & bus
