From the NORTH and SOUTH:
Take the A22 motorway exit at Bolzano Sud – follow the expressway towards Merano (about 30 km) to the center of Merano and the surrounding villages.

From November to April, we recommend renting a vehicle with all-wheel or front-wheel drive and ensuring it is equipped with winter tires and snow chains to travel safely and without complications on winter roads.
By Train and Bus
Travel comfortably and environmentally friendly by train to the Merano region

From GERMANY:
There are multiple daily direct train connections that take you from Munich to Bolzano in less than four hours without the need to change trains. From there, you can reach Merano with a direct regional connection. For information on train connections, visit Deutsche Bahn DB. -
From AUSTRIA:
Regular trains run from Kufstein through Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass directly to Bolzano and Merano. You can find train connections at the Austrian Federal Railways ÖBB. - From SWITZERLAND:
The Railjet Express & Eurocity comfortably takes you from Switzerland through Innsbruck and the Brenner Pass to South Tyrol. Trains from the Swiss Federal Railways SBB run several times a day from Zurich, Basel, or Geneva.
Direct bus connections take you from Bolzano to Merano and the surrounding areas of the Merano region, with travel times ranging from about 30 to 50 minutes depending on the destination.
Alternatively, you can use the "Südtirol Transfer" shared or individual transfer service, which takes you directly from your stop to your holiday accommodation.
